My active recovery week couldn't have had better timing. I will certainly need some recovery time this week between my tri training and the fact that it is spring break, which promises to make life a work hectic this week.
I went for a 5 mile run yesterday and could barely keep up my desired pace and again this morning...I take that as a sign that I might need a little rest so I cut my run a bit short this morning. It stinks becuase I hate taking breaks, but when that happens it's like "here's your sign". So I will cut back in all aspects of training this week for a little r&r and then get back at it hard next week.
The end of May is approaching quickly, I've got to be sure that I am ready for the Madeira Beach Triathlon!
